Barkitecture is the light-hearted centrepiece of Goodwood’s annual dog event, Goodwoof, where a range of kennels are created by 16 invited architects and designers, and then auctioned by Bonhams. Hall + Bednarczyk were delighted to be asked back in 2023, where our design, WigWag, answered the brief to create a transportable kennel design for home and workplace. Our solution was a stretch fabric dog-sized wigwam held up by a wooden post shaped like dinosaur bone.

As a small practice, being showcased alongside world famous names such as Foster, Rogers, Hopkins and Conran was extremely flattering and resulted in media coverage including The Times and Wallpaper*. We were delighted that Goodwood and Bonhams chose our WigWag design and office dog Sable as the online cover image for the two-day event.
